The time taken for your consultation will vary. Usually, a new patient's first consultation will take up to 30 minutes.

Standard consultations will normally take up to 15 minutes. Consultations may take more or less time depending on the patient's condition.

If a patient's condition is bad the consultation can take longer than normal.

After your first consultation, the chiropractor will determine if an x-ray is necessary. If so, you will be referred to have a spinal x-ray taken.

This is bulk billed through Medicare.​

There is no definite answer since every case is different. Sometimes a bad back is caused by a minor misalignment rather than a long-standing problem. In this case, one visit is all that is needed to 'fix' the problem or 'get well'. However, people with long-standing back problems or damaged backs may need a management program to help keep their back working well.

There are many different levels of chiropractic care available to people; relief care, corrective care and wellness care.

Relief Care is designed to help reduce or eliminate the symptoms. Corrective Care is designed to allow enough time to completely heal and stabilize your condition and stop the chance of reoccurrence.

Wellness Care is the last type designed to maintain an optimum state of health.
